Fourteen Days of Love (Days 5, 6, & 7)

Day 5: We watched a "romantic" movie. This is what the kids picked. It doesn't get more romantic than this.
Day 6: We danced! "We go together like a wink and a smile."

Day 7: We made Valentine cookies. Adam helped me with the dough while Tessa took a nap. During family home evening we frosted and decorated them. The kids went a little crazy with the sprinkles. Their cookies had mounds of sprinkles on them!

Fourteen Days of Love (Day 4)

Today we colored Valentine pictures for our refrigerator and made some hand print hearts to mail to the great grandparents.

(I am about to give up on taking pictures of them....Adam always has his cheeser grin and Tessa won't look at the camera if Adam is around.)

Fourteen Days of Love (Day 3)

Today we made Valentine suckers and candy!

They were so anxious to dig into their suckers, they had a hard time looking at the camera.

Adam

Adam is such a good, responsible boy!! He has been working so hard to make his bed just like Mommy does. It's a difficult task since his bed is against a wall. Today he did such a wonderful job! He was so proud, so I told him we could take pictures for his scrapbook.

These are Adam's "friends". Teddy Elephant, Triceratops, Uncle Matt the Missionary, Ted the Bear, and Doug the pillow pet. They all watch cartoons with him every morning and he sleeps with all of them every night. Teddy Elephant is his absolute favorite!

Tessa

Since our move, Tessa has done much better at sleeping in her own bed. She is a snuggle girl and loves to sleep with us or her new favorite place....with Adam. She is lucky to have such a nice brother who doesn't kick her out!
Our new weekly battle with her comes every Sunday. We get her ready for church and then she puts on her princess attire and insists on wearing it to church. I'm all for cute....but this is a bit much.

Fourteen Days of Love (Day 2)

Today our countdown activity was to look at wedding pictures. The kids loved seeing how much everyone in our families have change in the last 6 1/2 years. Tessa thought I was a princess and Adam liked the picture of our rings.
