Fourteen Days of Love (Day 10)

Today we started getting our Valentine's ready to deliver! The kids used their treasure to make candy cars to go along with their Valentine's.

David's Mission Call

Tonight David opened his mission call. Not one person he knows guessed South America. So imagine our shock when he read that he was going to Brazil!

About 10 years ago this missionary was in Recife, Brazil.

Now, this missionary is going to Recife, Brazil.

We are so excited for David! Eric is thrilled that David is going back to his mission. I told Eric he had to get his mission scrapbook done before David leaves so he can share mission pictures with Dave.

David reports to the Sao Paulo, Brazil MTC on July 6th. He will be such a wonderful missionary and we are so proud of him for being so willing and excited to serve the Lord! It will be a long 2 years without my Davey Baby around, but he is going to be an awesome missionary and I am so, so proud of him!!

Fourteen Days of Love (Day 9)

Today we had a Valentine's Treasure Hunt!

Tomorrow's activity involves all the treasure...they can hardly wait!

Fourteen Days of Love (Day 8)

Today we wrote love notes to each other on our bathroom mirrors....only after a long lecture from me, on only being allowed to draw on mirrors with mommy present!

Midway Ice Castles

We had so much fun in Midway! The ice castles were beautiful. Spending some time with cousins made our time there even more fun!

Fourteen Days of Love (Days 5, 6, & 7)

Day 5: We watched a "romantic" movie. This is what the kids picked. It doesn't get more romantic than this.

Day 6: We danced! "We go together like a wink and a smile."

Day 7: We made Valentine cookies. Adam helped me with the dough while Tessa took a nap. During family home evening we frosted and decorated them. The kids went a little crazy with the sprinkles. Their cookies had mounds of sprinkles on them!

Ice Castles

On Saturday we went to Midway to see the ice castles. They were amazing! We had so much fun! More pictures to come soon.....
