Adam's First Primary Talk

Adam gave his first talk in Primary today. He did such a good job and shocked us all by having most of it memorized this morning. Some of our favorite parts were when he announce to everyone that he bumped his nose on the microphone and when he said "fogether toever" instead of "together forever". We are so proud of our little Sunbeam!! This video is us practicing before church.

"All growed up"

We hear "I'm all growed up" all to often these days, and it is true, he is growing up! Adam is loving being a Sunbeam and can hardly wait for Sunday to roll around. We love hearing him sing his new favorite primary songs-he loves the birthday songs!
I know I have been spoiled with children who nap really well. Sadly, Adam's napping days are over. He is 3 1/2, so it is time. While I am going to miss having a couple hours free in the afternoons, I am looking forward to spending some one on one time with my Bug-a-boo. He is trying to learn the alphabet in Sign Language, so that is what we are working on these days. His new favorite thing is "Play-doh". He waits until Tessa takes her nap before he gets it out and then his imagination goes wild! I love listening to him play!

Today he made cupcakes for about an hour and a half. You can tell who likes to help me in the kitchen!

Dress Up

The other day the house was suddenly too quiet and I knew that must mean someone by the name of Tessa must be up to trouble. I found her in my closet trying on shoes. She loves shoes! (She calls them "bye bye's".) When she tries to get the shoes on, she always lifts her leg up to reach the shoe instead of taking the shoe to her foot-it's pretty funny to watch.

A Merry Christmas!

~Christmas Day 2009~
Santa brought Adam a t-ball set!

Santa brought Tessa a "wee"!
A new baby to love from mommy and daddy.
What he has been asking Santa for-Little Einstein toys. He was thrilled and even sleeping with them tonight.

A doctor set from Ma and Pa. He usually uses his hammer and saw when we play doctor-he was happy to get the right kind of "tools".

Tessa loved her pink car from Ma and Pa. Now she can try and keep up with her big brother.

A crib for her babies from Mamma and Bampa.

A new costume for our dress up box!

A busy, but wonderful day! We were able to visit lots of family and talk to Uncle Matt in Texas. We are grateful for our Savior who we remember this day-grateful for His humble birth and His perfect example. We realize how blessed we are to have been given the greatest gifts of all-forever families and the knowledge of the Atonement. No other gifts can compare!
Merry Christmas!!

One excited boy!!

Adam is beyond excited for Christmas!! We have been counting down the days with a chain and he is so happy that the chain is almost gone. Tonight Mamma gave him a Santa hat and he insisted on wearing it to bed so he can be ready for Christmas. There is so much Christmas magic in the air!! I can't wait to see his face on Christmas day!

Cute, cute boy!!

A visit to Santa!!

We took the kids to see Santa this morning!! He promised some fun surprises Christmas morning and asked the kids to go to bed early on Christmas Eve and to leave some cookies out for him. Adam loved talking to him and has asked Santa for Little Einstein's twice now. Santa is going to have to work with Mommy and Daddy on that one. Tessa just waved at him and said, "Danda!" She loves Santa almost as much as she loves Christmas lights.
