Perfect Attendace

Last week, Adam and Tessa both brought home perfect attendance awards for last term. I can tell you now, we are going to have 2 devastated children if they ever have to take a sick day from school. Not only do they love their new school, but they love being rewarded for doing good things!

3 Months Old!

I can't believe he is already 3 months old. Time just flies by. He is the perfect baby. Always so, so happy and easy going. He is a wonderful sleeper (for the most part) and is growing like a weed. He has started to giggle and that just thrills the other kids to pieces!
This photo shoot was a bit more challenging than others have been because I had some competition. Gwen insisted on getting her own shots of him with her princess camera and Caleb was way more interested in his fun big sister than boring old mom.

Life with Gwen

Life with Gwen around is never dull. She keeps us on our toes!
Last week she dumped my foundation all over the bathroom.

Then over the weekend, she decided to glue some paper to the wall. It happened to be Tessa's part for the Primary Program. Gwen has been obsessed with gluing things lately. I'm still not sure why she felt the need to glue something to the wall, but when you're two, most things you do don't make a whole lot of sense.

Happy Halloween!

Another successful Halloween come and gone. The kids have been excited for days to go Trick or Treating. The couple of days leading up to Halloween were busy for us and the kids didn't have school on Halloween, so we finished up the last of our countdown activities and Mommy made oozing eye meatballs and spaghetti for dinner before we headed out to go Trick or Treating. Ma, Pa and all the Aunts and Uncle's who were around came down to our house this year. After Trick or Treating, the kids sent themselves into a sugar coma while we watched "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and Bob Hope in "The Ghostbreakers".
It was a fun Halloween!!

Scarecrows on Main Street

October in Spanish Fork means Scarecrows up and down Main Street! We love this tradition. We spent one morning and another afternoon, walking up and down Main Street, getting a closer look at all of the fun creations this year. After the first couple of scarecrows, Gwen was too scared to get close to the other ones. Olaf was everyone's favorite!

Halloween Countdown

Day 8: Monster coloring and Witches broomsticks
They got creative making monster faces and Gwen loves poking the pretzels into the peanut butter cups.

Day 7: Mummy Braid
Tessa was my kitchen helper for dinner that day.
Day 6: Trunk or Treating
The kids were so excited to wear their Halloween costumes and go Trunk or Treating with some of their friends at church. We had so many comments on  our Frozen Family. Aunt Dee saved me and did an awesome job on Adam and Caleb's costumes!

Day 5: Pumpkin Carving!
For Family Home Evening, we carved our pumpkins. We had such a fun evening!!
Gwen telling us about her "Scary pumpkin". She shakes her whole body like she's trembling when she does this.

Day 5 was also Vampire doughnuts. Always a Halloween favorite around here.
