Adam

Adam had some exciting events last week. On Wednesday evening, he got to participate with his school in the Hope of America program at BYU.  We have been practicing songs and choreography for months in preparation for this event.
He got to be in the blue part of the flag and sat in the upper left hand corner. Pa spotted him first from across the room and we were able to keep our eyes on him through the whole show. He did a great job and I am so glad he got to participate in something so special!
The last song they performed was "We Can Be A Light" and they had actions they did with flashlights. It was beautiful and moving and my favorite part of the night!

Ma and Pa were able to come and watch Adam. He was glad to have them there.

On Saturday, Daddy and Adam met up with Uncle Mattman to go shooting. This was Adam's first time shooting a gun. He was excited and I was nervous. I kept myself busy while they were gone so I didn't worry too much. Our windows are really clean now!
They had a lot of fun and Daddy said Adam did really well for his first time. They both said Matt was a really good teacher. Adam liked the targets and the smaller guns, but wasn't a huge fan of the shotgun. He didn't like the kick that came with the shot.

8 Months Old

This beautiful little boy of ours turned 8 months old on Saturday. It has been a big week for him. Last Sunday, he started sitting up on his own and by Wednesday, he was crawling all over the place. His big brother and sisters love that he is on the move constantly now. Mommy and Daddy are now constantly keeping him away from the stairs and other dangers. He loves that he can get to all of us now and he is fast!!
He has 2 teeth and as of last week weighed in at 19 lbs 10 oz. He has healed perfectly from his surgery last month and he spits the most slobbery raspberries I have ever seen come out of a baby. He loves his tongue!
His eating and sleeping are about the same. Some days great, some days not so great.
Overall, he is a happy and wonderful baby. We are so blessed to have him!

He did not want to sit around for pictures. He had places to be!
Phones and remotes are still favorites. But only the ones he isn't supposed to have.
And then he found his shirt sticker.

And that's what was left of it....

Spring Break 2015

It should have lasted longer. Sleeping in on some mornings was glorious!!
But, we are grateful for the break we had. We got to do a few fun things!
Monday was laundry day. The kids all got to have a lazy TV/play in the backyard day while Mommy got caught up on chores and laundry after Easter weekend.
Tuesday we went to the Bean Museum with Ma, Andrew and Ben. The kids loved running around and looking at all animals.
The kids even got to touch a real lion head. Tessa wasn't so sure at first, but decided to give it a try.

Adam the Lion
After the Museum we went and got some ice cream and went to visit Pa at work.
Wednesday was a rainy day. Caleb had a doctor's appointment that day, the girls got to go play with some friends and we went to Mamma and Bampa's house for a while in the afternoon.
That evening, Tessa and Mommy got to sneak away for a movie date to see Cinderella. We had a fun time just being together. It doesn't happen often enough.

Thursday we went to the Curiosity Museum and had such a fun time!

The kids got to have a sleepover at Ma and Pa's house and Friday they got to hang out with Daddy while Mommy helped Mamma get ready for her yard sale.
Saturday, Daddy, Adam and Tessa hike to the Y. Tessa was so excited to go with the boys. Daddy said she did great and made it the whole way!

Saturday afternoon, Mommy and Daddy got to sneak away for a date and saw Les Miserables at the Hale. It was a beautiful production and so nice to get out together.
Only 9 more weeks of school. We are ready for summer!!
