Mommy Time

I decided yesterday that Adam and I needed to have extra mommy time together during the next 3 weeks. He is in love with his ABC's right now, so this morning we made ABC sugar cookies. He loved it and ate the cookies as fast as I pulled them out of the oven. I think this will be something we do together more often.

Blueberries

Eric was cracking up at Adam's face after he finished a bowl of blueberries. His tounge and teeth were so gross!! The boys thought it was hilarious and Adam was proud to show off his yucky tounge.

Trip to Rexburg!

On Saturday we decided to drive up to Rexburg and see the sites there. I know what you are thinking.....what is there to see in Rexburg? Well, nothing! But the temple was beautiful and BYU-Idaho was much bigger than I remember Ricks being. It was just nice to spend the day together as a family.

Catching up!

We have had a busy couple of weeks! Adam decided to use our computer keyboard as a wrestling mat for his animals, so it has been getting fixed for the last 2 weeks. I have a lot to catch up on! Adam and I went to California the end of June to spend a week with my Grandma. We went with my mom and little brother Andrew. It was hard being away from Eric for so long, but we had a good time seeing family and friends. I got to watch lots of musicals with my Grandma which really reminded me of growing up. Whenever Grandma stayed with us when I was growing up she would always bring new musicals for us to watch together while we worked on projects. Adam had fun playing with Uncle Andrew and loved pushing Grandma's wheelchair around and was very curious about the buttons that made her bed move up and down. I told her that if I found her folded like a taco, not to blame me! I just have a very curious child!
My cute Grandma Wanlass
Adam loved his swimming pool Grandma got him!
Adam got to meet his cousin Levi. They both share
a love of cars. They had fun crashing them.

He is so my child! He was very into a Doris day movie one afternoon.

3 days after we got home we left again for Utah to spend the 4th with our families....my last trip before the baby. We went to the parade in Provo first thing in the morning. Adam loved the cars, horses and fire trucks!! It was so fun to watch him get so excited.

Adam spent the afternoon wet and eating
watermelon!

Adam and Annie...we arranged their marriage
over the weekend.

He wasn't too sure about the fireworks. He stayed
outside for a while, but then joined Uncle Danny and
Ares in the doorway where it was safer.

Uncle Matt recieved his Eagle Scout Award while

we were there! Way to go Mattman!!!

Since I have been home I have been busy! This past week I have made 4 quilts and 2 burp cloths. I have also made curtains for Adam's room and for the kitchen. It has felt so good to accomplish so much! This week I am tackling the babys room.

We also "introduced" Adam to the big boy potty today. Wish me luck!!!!
