30 weeks!

I will hit the 30 week mark this week! Only 10 more to go! I am feeling so uncomfortable the last couple of days. I don't know if I will make it another 10 weeks. This little girl is a wiggle worm! My Mom said she is already a little gymnast like her mommy. I laughed when I looked at these two pictures together. My how I have grown!! This is my 19 week shot at the beginning of April. I thought I was big then!

Weekend Fun

We had a fun Father's Day weekend! We took Adam to the tiny zoo here in Idaho Falls. Adam was so excited...especially to see the elephants. He was disappointed that they didn't have any. This is his excited face when he saw the first animal! He loved the monkeys, zebras, lion, tigers and watching the otters swim under the water. It was fun watching him get so excited over the little things!
Later that day we went swimming and Adam LOVED that! After 10 minutes in the water he was ready to jump in by himself. Eric had fun playing with him....I watched! I thought I would spare the world the horror of seeing me in a bathing suit right now.

Loving our Saturday afternoon!!!

We Made It!

Well, we made it to Idaho! What a week! I am so glad it is over. Everything with the move went really smoothly thanks to our awesome families! Eric's parents and brother Ryan helped us load the truck on Thursday, we spent Friday in Utah County and then my parents helped us unload the truck in Idaho on Sat while my brother Andrew kept Adam busy. Before my parents left on Sunday we were pretty much settled, with a few minor things to unpack and organize. I am glad to have it mostly done. We really only have pictuers to hang up and we are done! Adam has done really well with everything going on. We set up his big boy bed the first night here and he has done pretty well with it. My biggest challenge is that he can get out, so naptime tends to be a battle. He loves his new big boy room and spend hours playing with his toys.
He had a hard night our last night in St George. This picture is him eating his lunch on what we left out of his bed. On Thursday night we slept on the floor of our living room in St George and by 1:30am he was in hysterics because he wanted his whole bed and his bedroom. Finally at 3am, Eric took Adam's mattress up to his empty bedroom and Adam went right to sleep. This kid likes his space. So far I LOVE Idaho! It is beautiful here and I love the area we live in! We had a rude awakening this morning when Eric went to work. This is how we found his car! Yes my friends, that is SNOW!!! Let me remind you all that it is JUNE 11!! The high today is only supposed to get to 53 degrees-a far cry from the 97 degrees we had last week in St George. Needless to say we are wearing socks and long sleeve shirts today. It is supposed to warm up later this week. I am planning on a rough winter. Other than that, I am excited to be here and start our life in Idaho. It has been so wonderful to have Eric work "normal" hours and come home happy and with enough energy to play with us. That will be the best thing about this move!
We feel very blessed to have had everything work out so well with the move and the opportunity for Eric to get this new job. The Lord has been very mindful of us and we are grateful for it! Come visit us in beautiful Idaho! We would love to see you!!!

Disappointed!

I had my 28 week appointment today and my doctor did another ultra-sound to check my placenta to see if it had moved. No such luck. He said it still would need to move about 4cm and even then it would be cutting it close and not worth the risks of a vaginal delivery. I am disappointed and frustrated. I was really hoping it would move. I just keep reminding myself the most important thing is to get the baby here without complications. I have a lot to worry about this week with the move to keep my mind off it it. But, I am still pretty bummed. Maybe cake will make me feel better:)
