We had a very early Easter morning! The kids woke up earlier than they did on Christmas!
They were thrilled to see the Easter Bunny had left them some fun baskets and footprints all over the house.
They got some fun things this year-less candy and more books.
Adam got more basketball playing cards and the girls got some stuffed animals. They each got a pair of flip flops for the warmer weather that is hopefully on its way.
Adam checked to see what happened to their jelly beans and he found 2 bunny suckers!
They wasted no time!
The Easter Bunny left some hidden eggs for them to find around the house. Tessa's eggs looked like lady bugs, Adam's eggs looked like sports balls, and Gwen's eggs were just different colors. They did a good job finding all of them-even Gwen.
She would not let go of that piece of candy in her hand!
Then she found the peeps.....
My least favorite part of Easter Sunday-trying to get a good picture. Thankfully, they did really well and we got some good shots. They all looked so cute! I can't believe how big they all look. It makes me so sad to see my babies growing up so fast!
After the morning festivities, we had our traditional Easter breakfast and added our last picture of Christ to our Easter countdown. I am so thankful that we are able to teach our children the importance of and true meaning of Easter. I am humbled by their small, sweet testimonies of their Savior and am always so grateful for the week before Easter and the extra time we take as a family to learn more about our Savior. It brings such a wonderful spirit into our home.
After Sacrament Meeting, (Adam sang with his children's choir) we headed to Mamma and Bampa's house for a visit. We got to see Gammy, Matt, and Briette while we were there. Mamma had set up a little treasure hunt for the kids and they loved it!
Even Gwen wanted to help find the clues.
We spent the evening at Ma and Pa's house. It's Uncle Ben's last Easter with us for 2 years!
Uncle Ben and his nieces and nephews
Ares, Ben, Symphony, Adam, Gwen, and Tessa
We came home that night with some very worn out kids. It was a very happy Easter!
