Weekend Walk

This past Saturday we participated in a 3 mile walk for Multiple Sclerosis. Eric's company is one of the sponsors for the walk in Provo and we thought it would be a good opportunity to support a good cause. Despite the rain, we had a great time!!

Go Team Nielson!!
We got a little medal after finishing the walk. Adam was very proud of his!
Tessa enjoyed her walk too!

An after walk snack-yum!!

Birthday Girl!

Yep, I'm another year older. But I am glad that 29 doesn't feel a whole lot different than 26, 27 or 28.

I attempted to make my own birthday cake. They cake fell apart, but my flowers turned out pretty good. I guess I need to start working on cakes again soon.
Party at the Lemley's- I got all 29 of them!!

Party at the Nielson's

my cute babies!!

Thanks for a great birthday everyone!!

Elder Lemley!!!

Elder Matthew Spencer Lemley has been called to serve in the Houston, Texas Mission!!! He leaves June 24th and we are all so excited for him! Adam is excited Uncle Matt will be a "missomarry". If you want to see the video of Matt opening his call-check out Kevin's blog!

We have been working on learning how to get dressed without mommy's help. It is a slow process, but we are getting there.

A Wicked Weekend!

Saturday Eric and I were able to see the musical Wicked. I saw the play in Hollywood while Eric was in El Salvador and it was just as amazing the second time around. Eric introduced me to the soundtrack when we were dating, so he has been waiting a long time to see it! I am so glad we got to go (thanks Mom!) and see it together!! It was awesome!!!

A very busy week!!

We had a very busy week with lots of things going on....sorry about the crazy long post! The kids are sick and Tessa isn't eating well again, so things are a bit crazy for us right now. I am amazed we survived last week, but I am glad we did it all !! On Tuesday we went up to Kaysville for cousin Ellie's pony birthday party. Adam wanted to be a cowboy and he LOVED riding the pony!!!

Tessa and Paige-Tessa wasn't very happy when Mamma took her paper plate away.

Adam, Mya, Wynn and Paige at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We spent a few hours in Salt Lake on Wednesday with our Vegas cousins.
Adam loved seeing the castle temple

But he was more excited about the construction across the street.
On Thursday we had cousins over to play and Adam's friend Ethan came to visit from Ogden before he moves back to Hawaii. These boys have known each other since they were 6 months old. We will miss Ethan and Jenny!!
Thursday night we colored Easter eggs at Mamma and Bampa's house. Adam was surprisingly good at it!
On Friday we headed down to Manti for my cousin Melissa's wedding. Adam loved seeing another castle temple and he like the statue of Moroni, but was sad when Moroni wouldn't say hi back to him. I took Adam into the lobby of the temple and as soon as we walked in he loudly asked, "Where is Heavenly Father?"
Friday night was the reception---my cute cousin Melissa and her hubby Devin.
Saturday the Easter Bunny came and left the kids yummy treats!

The Easter Bunny brought Tessa some baby food! Lucky girl!

Adam had five egg hunts this weekend! One at our house, one at the park here in Spanish Fork, one at Wal-mart (dumb luck), one at Ma and Pa's house and one at Mamma and Bampa's house. I am tired just typing that many!!

Baby's first Easter!!
Adam helped his Ma frost Easter cookies
And he helped Mommy make a bunny cake
Easter Sunday!!!

My Mom bought Tessa her Easter dress last Easter when I was pregnant and just found out I was having a girl. We have waited a long time to see her in this!
Ellie and Tessa
Zeke and Tessa....the picture says it all!!
So that was our week...one more Adam story-when reviewing the Easter story with him yesterday I asked what happened to Jesus on Easter. His reply-"Jesus died, the Easter Bunny came and helped Him and now He is alive!" The Easter Bunny wasn't in the story I taught him, but I guess that was close enough!
