Adam's Piano Recital

Adam had his piano recital this month. He has been working hard for weeks on his pieces. He played The Clock and Prehistoric Procession. Mrs. Hansen said she's never had a student as young as Adam play Prehistoric Procession. His hard work paid off and he did an excellent job!!

Gwen's First Primary Talk

The Sunday after our trip, Gwen got to give her very first talk in Primary. She was so excited to do this and worked hard on practicing with Mommy and Daddy. She talked about Jesus Christ being our Savior and Redeemer. She was a little nervous before her turn, but she did a great job and was so proud of herself! She said the best part was getting to talk into the microphone.

Spring Break 2016-Days 5 & 6

Disneyland
For our final day of the trip, we headed back to Disneyland. There were several rides we still wanted to go on and a few extra fun things we wanted to squeeze in. We got there extra early for the Magic Morning, which was supposed to get us into the park an hour earlier than the general public. Well, everyone else who had Magic Morning passes must have saved their's for Thursday as well, because the lines to get into the park were outrageous! Once we finally got in, Adam and Daddy ran to Tomorrowland to get Adam signed up for the Jedi Academy and the rest of us headed to Fantasy Land. Tessa really wanted to ride Alice In Wonderland. We got on Alice, the Tea Cups, and Dumbo before we met up with the boys again. The Tea Cups and Dumbo were a hit with the kids and Tessa said Alice was her favorite ride at Disneyland.

David and Alex came on Thursday and spent the day with us. It was so fun having them there.

Although we were glad to be at Disneyland again, we were all wiped out. The kids were exhausted. Gwen took a nap practically sitting up.
So Daddy and Adam were so lucky and Adam got signed up for the Jedi Academy. Unfortunately, 10 minutes before the show was supposed to start, it started to rain and they canceled the show. I think the adults were more disappointed than Adam. He had a really good attitude about it. He got to take pictures with the Jedi trainers and then they gave him a walk- on pass for any ride he wanted to go on. He chose the Matterhorn, so we were able to just walk on that ride basically, which was really nice!

We tried to stay out of the rain a bit, so we ended up going to see Chewy! Chewy was hilarious and very friendly! Everyone got hugged by Chewy! Caleb loved seeing him!

He got so excited to see Darth Vader anything!
After meeting Chewy, we met Kylo Ren. That was a bit scarier for the kids, but they all talked with him. Symphony is very concerned about our boys deciding to join the dark side now that we have met Kylo Ren.

 Everyone loves the Buzz ride!
We ran into more Storm Troopers.
I wish I knew what was going through his little head!

We decided that we couldn't leave Disneyland without meeting Mickey Mouse. So our last stop for the day was going to meet Mickey. All the kids were so excited to meet him and even Caleb ran to him and gave him a hug!

Until next time, Disneyland. We sure love you!

We had a very, very, very long car ride home on Friday. Considering how long we were in the car, the kids did amazingly well. Caleb especially. As long as he had his book and toys, he was the happiest boy ever. We were so glad we were able to go have such a fun trip, but it was nice to get home again. We made such wonderful memories. We can't wait to do it again someday.
