A Wedding Weekend

This past weekend we traveled to San Diego for my brother Kevin's wedding. He and his bride are a match made in Heaven and they had the wedding of their dreams.....literally!

Tessa was showing off Aunt Katy's corsage. It took up most of Tessa's arm. Katy was glad to give it up:)
Parents of the groom
Adam and Ares
My cousin Robin and her boyfriend David
Grandpa Lemley
With the fairies again!
Amy's bouquet that her mom made for her.

Vanessa, David, and Dee. We were so happy to see our Bakersfield cousins! I wish we saw them a lot more!!!
Richard and Debbie
Adam caught wind of my siblings plan to decorate Kevin's car (which they were forbidden to do) and has been so excited to help ever since!

Their first dance to Sleeping Beauty's "Once Upon A Dream".
Mom and Kevin
Tessa danced the night away! She couldn't get enough!

Tessa and Ares danced and danced and danced!

Our little family plus our tummy baby (3 months down!).

Tess had fun dancing with Uncle David. He leaves next week for Brazil!

Kevin did not throw a garter...shocking, I know. Instead he threw a frog prince. Adam caught it thanks to some help from Vincent. Adam was thrilled and has named him "Hopper".
The kids did a great job on the car! They put post-it notes all over the car, then plastic wrapped it, then covered it with quotes, scriptures, balloons, and other random things they had.
My favorite part of the evening was when my children decided to slide across the church floor. Tessa was running to me and fell. Her dress was satin, so she slid a bit. When she saw how far she slid, she stood up and said, "That was fun!". She then ran back to her starting place and purposely fell and slid again. Adam saw what she was doing and joined in on the fun of sliding across the church floor. It was pretty funny to watch and I would have been mortified until I saw the bride's dad and step-mom dying of laughter as they watched them attempt to slide into the bride and groom. I let them have a few fun slides before I stopped them. It wasn't appropriate at all, but it was highly entertaining for all who saw!
We are not even half way through everything we have going on this month, but are grateful the traveling is over with. Now on to David's goodbye party this week!
