Our little Mattman left today for his mission. He will be serving in Houston, Texas. We all piled in my parents van (you can only take one car to the MTC now) to say goodbye.

One last play day on Tuesday-Adam makes a good companion!
One last picture with Uncle Matt. The kids will be so big when he gets back!

It was so hard to say goodbye for some reason. I think I have cried more than my mom! I just can't believe our little Mattman is a missionary! He should still be drawing R's in the sand at the beach. He is grown into such a wonderful young man and I am so proud of him and so grateful that he is setting a good example for our other brothers and for my kids. If it is this hard just sending a brother off how am I ever going to send my own children out?! We will miss you Elder Lemley! See you in 2 years!!

Good Heavens I got teary just looking at your blog about him leaving!
Thanks for posting the pics. We were wondering how today went!!!!
He did such a good job on Sunday. He'll have a great adventure. We'll have to go to the beach and make some Rs for him! Should I send him a hook for Christmas?
I can't believe your brothers are getting old enough to go on missions.
