Easter Fun

We have been having some fun as we prepare for Easter this weekend. On Monday, we had a special family home evening lesson on the real meaning of Easter and talked a lot about the Savior's Atonement and Resurrection. Adam and Tessa both asked so many good questions and we had such a wonderful spirit in our home. It was the perfect way to begin our week of Easter activities. Each night we have been discussing the last week of the Savior's life and we hang corresponding pictures to remind us what this special holiday is really all about.
We have also been having some Easter fun with a few different activities. On Tuesday, the kids made 3D Easter eggs.
On Wednesday, we made some Easter cookies for the kids to take to their Primary teachers. Tessa helped me make the dough while Adam was at school. She loves to help me in the kitchen!

The cookies turned out cute and boy are they yummy!!

We had a fun Easter egg lunch.

Thursday we made paper plate Easter Bunnies. Anni and Boston were here with us and the kids had fun making these together.

The kids are so excited to see what the Easter Bunny is going to bring them this year. They have been having a lot of discussions about how well Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny know each other.
