Where have the last 4 years gone? I can't believe our little Princess turned 4 years old this year! We have had quite the week celebrating her big birthday. She has been planning and looking forward to her big day for months now...since Adam's birthday:)
She keeps telling people she had 2 birthdays. Her first birthday came on Sunday when they sang to her in Primary and we had a big birthday bash with the whole family. The second birthday (which she called her "tooth" birthday) came yesterday on her actual birthday. Guess we need to work on the word "second".
I was shocked when she turned down pink pancakes for breakfast! She loves pancakes, but asked for waffles instead. She requested waffles with butter (no syrup for some reason) and apple juice.
She asked for another princess birthday, so she got pampered. We went to see Jodi and Tess got her hair and nails done. She likes having Jodi do her hair because Jodi lets her watch cartoons on the phone while she sits in the chair.
She wanted the brightest red she could find on her nails. Tessa loves the color red!
Our pretty Princess! Jodi did a great job and Tessa loved looking so beautiful!
After her hair and nails were done, we met Daddy at Red Robin for a fun birthday lunch. She ordered a cheeseburger with french fries and lemonade. (Adam got to spend the day with Ma. They went to the "Big Bear Store" cause that's what they used to do together in Idaho when Tessa was born and so sick.)
She started having a coughing fit right as I took the picture, so she gave us a thumbs up for her food.
She was thrilled with her birthday treat!
We had a fun birthday evening at home opening presents, eating her favorite dinner, having another birthday treat and watching more Olympics! Tessa loves to take pictures and was so happy to get her very own camera!
Tessa is our animal girl! She got a new dog friend that she named "Webbo". Go figure....
Some birthday money from Great Grandma Nielson! She said, "Yes!! I'm rich!!!"
She was SO happy to get Lucifer the cat from Cinderella! She has been dying to get him!
She spent the evening taking pictures of her new toys and Gwen.
Her favorite meal...Macaroni and Cheese!
She wanted brownie sundaes with pink sprinkles for her birthday treat.
We are up until about 11pm every night watching the Olympics. At about 10:45 the kids decided they needed to eat Tessa's leftovers from lunch.
Sunday we had her big Princess Party. We had lots of family come and Tessa was so happy everyone came!
Our house was very pink and princessy and we had some of Tessa's favorite food and a pink crown cake.
She got all dressed up for her big party!
She was sad more of her cousins couldn't come, but had fun playing with Adam and Ares.
She got so many fun presents and has had so much fun playing with all of her new toys!
She got a Tessa doll from Ma and Pa.
She loved her spinning Cinderella and her new princess nightgown from Mamma and Bampa. (She wore her nightgown for 2 days straight.)
Mommy and Daddy got her the doll from Brave that looks just like her!
She loved her present from Aunt Dee and Uncle Eddie! Dee made her a new apron and she got lots of new kitchen tools.
She had a hard time blowing out her candles, but she got them eventually.
Happy Birthday sweet, spunky Princess Tessa! We love you so, so much!
