Last Saturday, we all gathered at Ma and Pa's house for our annual Oktoberfest. Pa prepared a delicious German meal to celebrate our German heritage. Before dinner, Adam, Tessa and all the big boys played a fun game of football. It's moments like these that make my heart happy. I am thankful that my kids are surrounded by so many good Aunts and Uncles (on both sides of the family) and that they get to create happy memories with those Aunts and Uncles. I have such happy memories from my childhood that involved getting to hang out with or play with the "older" relatives. I am glad that my kids have that as well. They love playing with their fun Uncles!
