Summer of Fun-Week 3

This week our big activity was swimming lessons. They kind of consumed our days, but the kids had so much fun and couldn't wait to go back each day. Other than that, we had a pretty mellow week.
Tessa is so anxious to sew, so we got out the sewing machine and Mommy taught her how to make a blanket. We started small, so she is working on one for her teddy bear.
Every Tuesday, Adam and Tessa get to take a special tween class at the library. When did my kids become tweens?! They are loving their class! This week they learned about constilations.

Gwen keeps us on our toes. She has been very into Candyland this week and climbing on anything and everything.
We took a trip up to Ikea on Thursday, which the kid thought was a fun adventure in and of itself. On our way home, we stopped by Thanksgiving Point and played at the Curiosity Museum for a bit. Caleb love the water.

The older kids spent most of their time performing for anyone who would watch.

The Olympic qualifiers for swimming were on this week. We were so excited to see Michael Phelps race again.

Thursday night, Mom and Dad go to attend a fun performance with the Utah Symphony. It was a beautiful night and it was a much needed night away.
Swimming lessons were so great this year! We tried a new teacher this year and in just one week, the kids learned and improved so much! They loved going off the slide and diving board. Gwen is a little natural. It was fun to watch them have so much fun! They can't wait for next year.
