Our boy turned 3 on Monday and we had a fun weekend birthday celebration!! On Saturday both sides of the family came over for a Thomas the Train birthday party. I did my best with the cake....it didn't turn out as I had hoped, but luckily 3 year olds don't really care.
He got lots of fun things, but a favorite is his new car!!
On Monday (his birthday) we took him up to Heber where they had Thomas the Train visiting the Heber Creeper. He LOVED it!!! We had a fun afternoon as a family and Eric and I loved watching him get so excited over the smallest things. We went for a ride on Thomas and he would have stayed on the train all day if we let him.
To finish off the birthday activities, today we visited the doctor for check-ups. Tessa had her 9 month and Adam his 3 year. For some reason Adam loves going to the doctor. It is not a place we visit very often, so I don't know why he thinks it is fun, but he has been looking forward to this just as much as riding Thomas! Both are healthy, healthy kids-thank goodness!! Adam weighs 31 lbs and is 36 inches and Tessa Boo is up to 18 lbs 4 oz and 29 inches. We are looking forward to things slowing down for a few days, but it has been fun to see Adam's eyes light up all weekend. We feel so blessed to have him as part of our family and our firstborn-he is going to do amazing things someday!!

such a fun birthday & i think the cake looks wonderful! and i'm so glad you got to go visit thomas, i always wanted to do that with mya when she loved him.
i can't believe how big tessa is, she's almost caught up with paige. paige is 19 months & only weighs 20 pounds....way to go tessa for making up for lost time :)

Your cake turned out amazing:) We hope Adam had a very Happy Birthday. Braiden loves his new friend Adam. He wants to have a train party just like him. Let me know when you want to go to the park!
First, the cake is AWESOME!! I didn't know you were a cake decorator. Maybe I should have you help me make Liv's. Second, Thomas looks so fun!!! We should have gone this year, but we opted for a movie day instead. I'm glad Adam had a wonderful birthday. Olivia wants him to come swimming with us for her's :)

I love the cake!!! It's way cute! Annie is very into Thomas right now too-we went to Heber too and she also loved it. Another funny thing our kids have in common is the love for the doctor. Annie like to go too which is nuts because you would think she would hate it-they did stitches in her head last summer and took out a splinter a week ago. You would think there were to many bad memories there-lol.
