Happy 4th of July!!

We love the 4th of July and had a fun day from early in the morning until late at night! The kids are wiped out from all of our activities, but they had so much fun!!
 Gwen's first 4th of July!
We left home bright and early to head to Provo for the parade. We had pretty good seats and were thankful to be in the shade this year!

 Gwen and Pa
Adam and Tessa were anxious to get to the parade early so we didn't miss everyone from Star Wars. Sadly, there weren't many there this year. Darth Vader didn't even come.
 Our parade group!
She is my best eater and sleeper!!
Mommy and her girls. Tessa was in a mood all morning. Lucky us:)
Adam's favorite part of the parade was the BYU float. He was even happier to see they brought a basketball hoop and did some tricks for the crowd.
We always love seeing the missionaries. We can[t wait until Uncle David is home!
Tessa loved the Tom and Jerry balloons.
Adam always makes us laugh at parades because he waves at anyone and everyone!
We went to Ma and Pa's house late in the afternoon for a family barbecue. It was fun to visit with family and friends. Gwen discovered grass and wasn't too sure about it.
Gwen and Dakota. They are 4 months apart, but Gwen has a good 10 lbs on him. He is just as tall as she is though. Look at that thigh!

Later in the evening we met up with Mamma and Bampa to watch the Stadium of Fire Fireworks. Adam and Tessa played with poppers and Mamma brought some fireworks to set off in the parking lot while we waited for the big show.

These kids LOVE their Mamma and Bampa!

Gwen was NOT a fan of the fireworks!
It took Tess a few minutes to warm up to them too.

We watched the end of the fireworks show from the car. Gwen and fallen asleep and Adam and Tessa were just about to pass out as well.  They thought it was pretty cool to get to sit on the trunk. We had a wonderful day and are so thankful to live in this wonderful country!
Happy Birthday America!
