Monday was the big first day of school for Adam and Tessa!! They have been so excited to go back to school and even more excited to start their new school. They were accepted (thankfully!) to American Preparatory Academy in Salem. It will be more of a commute for us each day, but this school is seriously amazing and I am so thankful that they got in because space was very limited.
I can't believe how fast these 2 kids have grown up! Adam is in 3rd grade? I still can't even believe that! He and Tessa looked so good in their school uniforms. Tessa wanted to wear her hair wavy for the first day of school.
The Friday before school started, we got to go meet their teachers and check out their classrooms. Tessa is excited to be sitting on the front row and her teacher is Mrs. Hernandez.
Adam was excited to find his desk and meet his teacher, Mrs. Gregson.
My friend, Kristin was able to take a couple pictures on the first day of school as Adam and Tessa walked to their classrooms with their classmates. She was bummed that the pictures turned out blurry, but I was thrilled to get them. Adam and Tessa have had a great first week and we are excited to see what this school year brings to their education. This change in schools will require a lot of extra time for our family, but it will be worth it!!
