A Look Back At February

I haven't been very good at documenting the little things on our blog. So, here is a recap of some of our happenings in February.
Adam and Tessa brought home report cards at the end of the month. Both have perfect straight A's.
Gwen is constantly all over Mommy. She thinks I am a human pillow.

Tessa was in charge of our Family Night treat one week and she took her job very seriously. Her cake was delicious!

Poor Caleb gets lots of "love"from Gwen. Occasionally his head makes the perfect drum.
Never leave your 3 year old unattended with a bottle of ketchup.
When she's tired enough she can sleep anywhere and through anything.
We celebrated Groundhog day with our favorite Groundhog pancakes.
I have no idea how this started, but they though it was hilarious.
Sometimes Mommy remembers to slow down and enjoy the little moments. These babies are growing way too fast.
Sunglasses and Sandboxes
This was taken on February 12th! We have had a crazy winter.
Mommy got to run away one evening and help clean the Provo Temple. It was wonderful.
This Little Man was upgraded to the high chair and loves it.

Someone is always playing dress up at our house.
Oh, the cutenesss! We love his hats!

We celebrated Presidents Day with George Washington pancakes and Adam and Tessa wrote a small essay on what they would do if they were President. Tessa said she would make a law that said only she was allowed to eat pizza, and Adam said he would take down office buildings to build more stadiums. But the people that worked in those office building, he would make sure they got sent to new office buildings so they didn't lose their jobs.
We celebrated Chinese New Year with some yummy homemade Chinese Food and chopstick. Gwen was disappointed it wasn't the year of the unicorn.
Adam and Tessa have learned how to play Chess and they play it constantly! They are both quite good and can beat Mommy and Daddy.
Gwen loves to take Selfies.
I know I shouldn't take pictures in church, but some weeks I just can't resist.
Mommy got to run away for a couple of days (with Caleb). We went and stayed at a little condo in Payson with Ma and Tammy. It was so good for Mommy to get some R&R.
Even though it hasn't been that cold, hot chocolate with marshmallows are a staple around here. It's the simple things that make life happy.

The kids had a Friday off of school, so we went to check on our Temple. It's almost done and we can't wait!
He loves hanging out with Mom and Dad after all the other kids have gone to bed.
Adam and Tessa each got a 1/2 dozen doughnuts for free at Krispy Kreme for their good grades.
It has been a fun, happy and busy month. On to March....
