Last week, we had another fun week of summer. I feel like this summer is flying by already.
Last Monday, we had to catch up on housework and laundry. So, for FHE, we let the kids spend the evening swimming. We got Caleb his own pool, and he liked it for a minute, but he really just wants to be with the big kids. Adam got in Caleb's pool for a bit to help Caleb see how fun it was.
They were using the tramp to jump in the pool. It was a fun idea, but Daddy took the tramp away once it got too slippery.
Caleb loves his Daddy!! He gets SO excited every evening when Eric gets home from work. They are best buds!
We are loving our lazy summer mornings. The girls love to be lazy in Mommy and Daddy's bed
Tuesday, we spent the day at BYU. First we went to the BYU Art Museum.
We loved the rainbow exhibit.
The kids loved hearing the bell tower while we were there all day.
We found a perfect spot for a fun picnic.
After our picnic, we went to the Bean Museum. Gwen is still afraid of the big bear in the front entrance.
Being Hippo's
Tessa found a baby animal to look at.
After the Bean Museum, we finished our day off at the Creamery for some yummy ice cream.
Wednesday, Tessa had her last gymnastics class in the morning and after lunch, we headed to the splash pad for some water fun.
It has been so blazing hot here, the water felt good!
Mommy and Caleb hung out in the shade.
Mommy is babysitting a little girl in our neighborhood on Wednesday's and Thursday's. So she gets to tag along on all of our adventures.
Thursday we went to Story Time at the Library.
A police officer and his dog came to speak to the kids while we were there. The kids loved watching the dog do all of his tricks.
The kids made police cars for their craft after Story Time.
Thursday night, Mommy got to take a flower arranging class and made this super cute Lady Bug!
Friday morning, Mommy went to clean Great Grandpa's apartment and Tessa came along to draw with Grandpa. Great Grandpa taught Tessa how to draw birds flying in the air.
Friday evening, we headed up to Manti to see the Manti Pageant at the temple. We had a nice picnic dinner before the Pageant started and Mommy and Tessa had fun doing some gymnastics together.
The kids did so great with having to wait for a couple of hours before the show started. We love this tradition and hope it's one we can continue to do for a long time.
Saturday morning the kids spent in the swimming pool and then after lunch, Daddy took the older 3 to the movies to see Home.
We spent Saturday evening up beautiful Provo Canyon with our Lemley family to celebrate Ma's birthday. We had a yummy dinner, played games, played Pooh Sticks, and had fun watching Ma blow out all of her candles.
Gwennie loves her cousin Gia and was so happy to feed her.
Lighting all 56 candles!
Ma with all of her grandchildren and kids who are in Utah. We missed not having Katy and David with us.
