Gwen's Birthday Party

Last Sunday we had the whole family over to celebrate Gwen's 3rd birthday. Gwen wanted a Frozen Birthday party, so Mommy did her best to accommodate that.
We had food to remind us of different parts of the movie, Frozen.  We had ham and turkey sandwiches (We finish each others sandwiches), ice castle blocks (jello jigglers), Olaf's noses (carrot sticks) Sven's antler's (pretzels), 2 salads (Troll Tossed Salad and Coronation Salad), Hugs, (Warm Hugs) kisses (A Kiss to melt a frozen heart) and chocolate (I wanna stuff some chocolate in my face).

Mommy made Gwennie an Elsa cake. It turned out pretty good.

Gwen was not in the mood for pictures all day. This child does not cooperate on birthdays.
We had to have a twirling party before everyone arrived.

She got lots of fun presents and has been happily playing with her new things all week!

That face!

She loves birthday candles and has been so excited to blow her candles out.

I think instead of baking for hours on end for my girls, I will just start making them bowls of frosting, since that is all they eat anyways.

Another picture of the cake post party, with better lighting.
She is definitely our threenager, but she is oh so fun!

5 Months Old

I have to keep counting to make sure it has really been 5 months! Each month seems to fly by with this happy and adorable little guy. He turned 5 months old on Sunday and also started rolling over that same day. That made Mommy happy and sad all at the same time. He is the happiest, most cheerful baby! Even his doctor is impressed with how happy and "talkative" he is. He currently weighs, 16.7 lbs and is 25 1/2 inches long. He loves to be on the floor to play and find his toys but he still hates being on his tummy. He loves being around his siblings and is having fun discovering everything around him. He especially loves to eat his toes and is always chomping on his fingers.
He is adorable and we adore him!

Walking with Dinosaurs

On Saturday, Daddy and Tessa got to have a very special Daddy/Daughter Date. They went up to Salt Lake and saw an awesome show called, Walking with Dinosaurs. Daddy said Tessa sat mesmerized through the entire show and she came home and told us about all the dinosaurs they saw. She said her favorite part was seeing the baby dinosaur. She and Daddy went out for a fun lunch together and then before and after the show, they stopped by the Planetarium to check things out there. Tessa said it was the best afternoon!
