Princess Tea Party

The end of August brought the much anticipated Princess Tea Party for Tessa and Gwen. We have gone to this for 3 years now and we love it. Sadly, Mommy wasn't feeling up to going this year, but we are blessed with wonderful friends who took the girls for me. Tess and Gwen got all dressed up and ready to go bright and early that morning. They didn't want to miss anything!

They had lots of fun spending the day with Presley (Gwen's bff) and Kristin was a gem and took lots of pictures for me! When the girls got home, they said they had a wonderful time. As always, their favorite activities were the dancing and the puppet show,

Caleb

My cutie pie, Caleb for his 2 year old pictures. They went about as good as his 1 year old pictures. He would pretty much rather do anything than take pictures. We let him bring some of his favorite toys and I love the photos we got with him playing. He is such a sweet little boy! We love him so much and can't believe he is already two!!

Gwen the Ballerina

Last week, Gwen's dreams of dancing finally came true and she got to start ballet!! She has been counting down the days for weeks and she was up bright and early on her first day of class. I loved her posing for pictures before class-next to her rock collection.

We've driven past this dance studio for years and Gwen was so happy to finally get to go inside.

She loves her class and I love watching her have so much fun.
Last week we also had to throw away her favorite pair of shoes. She was starting to call the her "junk shoes". So, we ventured out and got her a new pair.

Back to School

This past week was our big back to school week! Last Friday the kids got to go to school and see their classrooms and meet their teachers. Tessa was so excited to find out she was in Mrs. Tanner's class and Adam was happy about being in Mrs. Thiriot's class. I can't believe they are going into 5th and 3rd grades.

Even though Mommy is lacking in energy, we still managed to have our traditional Back to School dinner the night before school started. Daddy also gave the kids a father's blessing.

They were up bright and early on the first day of school and excited to start a new year!

They are so big! I can't believe how fast they are growing up. We are so grateful they are able to attend such a wonderful school. It's going to be an awesome year for them!
