4th of July Parade

We went to the parade in Provo Monday morning and had lots of fun. The kids LOVED the parade! As soon as we got home Adam started playing parade-all of his cars became floats and his character toys were riding on top of his "floats". I had to cheer every time he drove them by me.

She has to say and do everything he does-she kept trying to stand the same way he did at the parade
Adam loved all the high fives he got-especially from the missionaries

Stadium of Fire

Saturday night we met up with the Nielson gang at BYU to watch the fireworks.
Tessa wouldn't eat any dinner, but loved all the junk food!
Adam anxiously waiting for the jets to fly over-he would not move because he didn't want to miss them.

4th of July

I am finally getting caught up on life-I need to dust my house, but I thought this was more important-and more fun! We had a great 4th of July weekend-busy, but fun! We kicked it off early Saturday morning my going to the balloon launch in Provo. Sadly the balloons never got in the air due to the wind, but we had fun seeing the few they blew up.

I love this picture!! My parents met up with us bright and early!

Strawberry Days Rodeo

Hello blogging world-I am attempting to make a come back. This month has been crazy! Girls camp is over and hopefully that means life will start to slow down a bit. A couple of weeks ago we did something new for me and the kids. We went to a rodeo. I have lived in Utah for almost 14 years now, and until this summer I have never been to a rodeo. Thanks to my awesome friend Kara, that changed this year. We had lots of fun!
Adam loved eating the food almost as much as he liked watching the cowboys. He LOVED the big bulls and the buffalo (not to mention the strawberries and cream).
Tessa had a hard time sitting still for the whole thing, but she made it.

A long, but fun evening. I think this will be a new every other year tradition for us!

Father and Son Camp-out

A couple of weekends ago Eric and Adam went camping with our ward. They had such a good time!
Adam "helped" Eric set up their tent and for dinners they cooked hot dogs over the campfire. Adam thought his was pretty tasty!
After it got dark, the little boys got to go bear hunting. Adam found 2 bears and got a bag of candy and a toy.
Calling me to say goodnight-he has a good Daddy who remembers important things like that:)
They had lots of fun together-I am glad they were able to have that special time together.
They had to pick Tessa up on their way home because I was at work. Adam had fun playing with Pa and trying out his new toy.

Farewell Friday

Our last day in CA was a busy one. We had lunch with my Grandma's step-sister (whom I had never met). It was so nice to listen to her talk about my Grandma and how much my Grandma meant to her. I hate not having my Grandma's around-I miss them.
After lunch we headed to Grandpa's house to say goodbye. We were trying to get all of our visits in and beat Friday evening traffic-mission so not accomplished!

Next we headed to see cousins!! Adam loved catching bugs with the girls and we had a good time visiting with Jer and Courtney.
Eventually we made it to Fontana-so don't miss CA freeways! We had so much fun visiting with the Troncale's. They thought we were crazy, but we all wanted to go swimming. The kids loved it!! Especially our fish Tessa. She would live in water if we let her.

The kids traveled so well! We were grateful Tessa only threw up twice-she gets really car sick. The kids can't stop talking about Disneyland and Adam had to hang a map of Disneyland on his wall so he can look at everything we did. It was such a great trip and we can't wait to do it again!
