Welcome to Moxtek

We have had some big family changes recently. At the beginning of the new year, Eric was offered and accepted a new job at a company in Orem called, Moxtek. We were thankful for answered prayers on many different levels. This new opportunity will bless Eric career wise, and having his commute cut down to 15 minutes, has blessed our home life. He has been busy the last couple of weeks learning his new responsibilities and more about the company. He is a Senior Manager now, but honestly, that's about all I can tell you about his job. We still aren't totally sure what this company manufactures. Something with crazy lenses on a microscopic level. Eric will be working a lot with vendors and because of that will get to do some traveling with this new job. He gets to go to San Fransisco (or as the kids call it-San Franstinktown) next week and Japan in a few weeks.
Last week, I got this picture from Eric. The ceiling above his office collapsed and water came gushing down. Luckily, he saw it coming, so he was able to throw his phone and computer out of the way, which is right where the water all landed. Thankfully, everyone was okay, but it made for an adventurous day and a good story. Most of his co-workers just kind of chuckled and told him, "Welcome to Moxtek".

Family Time

Last Thursday evening, we got to go tour the new Provo City Center Temple. We got to tag along with Ma and Pa, which was fun. The Temple was so beautiful and it was so special to see how they were able to save such a wonderful building. It was a cold evening and Caleb was not his happy self. He basically screamed through the entire temple, which was unfortunate. We are so grateful to live so close to so many temples and have them bless our lives.

Saturday afternoon, Mommy, Daddy, Adam and Tessa got to go to a BYU basketball game. Tessa has been begging to go to a game with her Daddy, so we thought basketball might be a little more exciting than football. We had fun cheering for our Cougars, but had an unfortunate loss. It was still fun to be there and have some fun time together. After the game, we walked over to the Creamery and got some Sneakerdoodle ice cream. That was the real reason Tessa was excited to come with us.

Welcome February!

February has been snowy and cold! It snowed for several days and we loved watching the beautiful snow fill our yard. February also means we get to celebrate "love day" as Gwennie calls it. The kids have loved waking up every morning to find love notes waiting for them in their mailboxes.
We celebrated Groundhogs day with our Groundhog pancakes. We made them for dinner this year.
The kids have had tons of fun playing in all of our fresh snow. Adam was a good big brother and gave the little kids rides in the sled around the yard.

Love these two boys! They are the cutest together.

Once the babies came inside to get warmed up, Adam and Tessa got busy on building a snowman. I loved just watching them work together. I wish I could have heard what they were talking about.
The big snowman didn't turn out quite like they hoped,  but Tessa was so proud of her mini snowman. She was devastated when I refused to keep him in the freezer.
