Poor Eric!
Eric rolled his ankle at work the other day and sprained it pretty bad. He has been home the last 2 days trying to get the swelling to go down. It actually looks better than it did yesterday. He came home from the doctors with ice packs, wraps, an air cast and crutches. We hope he feels better soon!

Birthday Girl!
I can't believe I am another year older! Yikes!! I had a great birthday on Wednesday! My awesome Mom surprised me and came down to spend the day with me!! Thank you Mom!!! We spent the day shopping....here are the first of our girl clothes. (We found lots of good sales.) This could be very addicting!
Eric took me out for a nice birthday dinner since we had a babysitter and then we had cake and opened presents in the evening. It was a fun birthday!!

Highlights
I am so thankful for General Conference! Each session was so good and I actually heard almost every talk, despite Eric and Adam crashing cars all afternoon. I was especially grateful for Elder Ballard's talk to young mothers. This week I had a few moments with Adam that brought a smile to my face and made me grateful to be a mother. I figure I should record those moments so I can remember how grateful I am on the days I am not loving my job quite as much. (We all have those days!)
I have loved watching Adam play with his toys! He has such an active imagination...it amazes me!

I was at the store the yesterday and was fishing around in the bottom of my purse for the car keys and all I kept finding were toy cars. All I could do was laugh. I never thought I would be a walking toy store.
Adam had his first ice cream cone this week. He loved the ice cream and was not as excited about the cone. He had orange frozen yogurt, so you can't see it all over his face and nose.
Today he discovered stickers. He decorated himself and then me with an entire page of them.
These are the little things that make me glad to be a mommy. Like Elder Ballard said, enjoy these moment...they slip by far too quickly!
