Treasures
This was my Easter dress in 1981. My Grandma Wanlass made it for me and while the picture is fading, the dress is still vibrant-especially on Tessa. Mom saved some of my old baby clothes in case I ever had a little girl-we like our memories! Tessa fits this dress now and I wish Grandma could see her in it. I think it would make her happy to know that another generation is wearing and enjoying her creations.

4th of July
We had a very busy 4th of July weekend, but is was a lot of fun! We are so glad we live in Utah this year to enjoy the festivities with our families. We went to the balloon launch of Friday morning, the parade on Saturday morning, had a bbq with my family that afternoon and spent the evening with the Nielson's at BYU for Stadium of Fire fireworks. Adam and Tessa loved everything!! We had a great time making new memories together. We are so grateful for our country and the blessings of freedom we enjoy! Thank you to those who who serve our country and keep us free! Danny and Jake-our thought are with you this holiday weekend! Thank you for your service!!

Goodbye Mattman
Our little Mattman left today for his mission. He will be serving in Houston, Texas. We all piled in my parents van (you can only take one car to the MTC now) to say goodbye.
After his setting apart on Sunday-an official missionary

One last play day on Tuesday-Adam makes a good companion!

One last picture with Uncle Matt. The kids will be so big when he gets back!
The little boys and more future missionaries!

Checking in at the MTC curb

It was so hard to say goodbye for some reason. I think I have cried more than my mom! I just can't believe our little Mattman is a missionary! He should still be drawing R's in the sand at the beach. He is grown into such a wonderful young man and I am so proud of him and so grateful that he is setting a good example for our other brothers and for my kids. If it is this hard just sending a brother off how am I ever going to send my own children out?! We will miss you Elder Lemley! See you in 2 years!!
